Projects
Coalition Projects emerge from the work of Interest Groups. When an Interest Group has an idea for a project, the project is passed to Coalition Facilitators for review. After the project is reviewed, it is pushed back out to the full Coalition to gather support and participation in the project’s development and eventual success.
Current Projects
Food System Mapping
1. Researching and spatializing components of the Hudson Valley food system, including existing infrastructure and its relationship to producers and markets/consumers
2. Identifying gaps and opportunities to strengthen and expand that system
3. Analyzing and evaluating existing conditions and examples to understand barriers, needs, and best practices
4. Creating a list of potential sites and proposals for new processing, aggregation, and/or distribution infrastructure for the Hudson Valley
